Biographical Information

Brian Dougherty has been a director of THQ "since November 2002. Mr. Dougherty is the founder and CEO of Airena, Inc., a software development company. Prior to Airena, he was the Chairman and Chief Technology Officer of Wink Communications, a provider of end-to-end interactive television services to the cable and satellite industries that he founded in 1995 and sold to Liberty Media in 2002. Mr. Dougherty also founded Geoworks in 1983; over his ten year tenure as CEO of Geoworks, the company developed video games for consoles and PCs, productivity software and operating systems for PCs and operating systems and applications for mobile phones. His first company, Imagic, developed games for various consoles including Atari, Intellivision, Colecovision, and Commodore 64, and was purchased by Activision in 1984. Mr. Dougherty has a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley. He is a member of the following public and private boards: Neomagic Corporation, Planetweb, and Airena." [1]
