Biographical Information
"Brian Carroll (London) joined KKR in 1995 and currently heads the Consumer and Retail team in Europe. He is also a member of the European Investment Committee. Since joining the firm, he has played a significant role in many investments including Laureate Education, Sealy Corporation, Borden, Merit Behavioral Care, Randall’s Food Markets, Rockwood/Dynamit Nobel, Harman International, Wild Flavors, Wincor Nixdorf and Pets at Home. He is currently a member of the board of directors of Rockwood Holdings, Laureate Education, Harman International, Pets at Home and Northgate Information Solutions. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Carroll was with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where he worked on a broad range of high yield financing, corporate finance and merchant banking transactions. He has a B.S., B.A.S., magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania, and an M.B.A. from Stanford University Graduate School of Business." [1]
