The California Food & Justice Coalition (CFJC) is an organization that "promotes the basic human right to healthy food while advancing social, agricultural, environmental and economic justice priorities."[1]

"CFJC was founded by the Community Food Security Coalition in 2003 as a way to coordinate the efforts of the burgeoning food justice movement in California, and address food policy needs. CFJC was a program of the Community Food Security Coalition until 2008 when CFJC became an independent project, fiscally sponsored by the Ecology Center in Berkeley."[2]
