Sewage Industry Groups are organizations, both public and private, that are part of and benefit from the hundreds of billions of tax dollars spent over the past decades in the U.S. alone to construct sewage treatment plants. These organizations are united in promoting and defending the dumping of toxic sewage sludge onto agricultural land, calling this hazardous waste biosolids and greenwashing sewage sludge as environmentally sound nutrient recycling.
