Biographical Information

Charlie McCreevy was appointed to the Board of Sports Direct "on 31 March 2011. He currently holds a Non-Executive Director positions at Ryanair Holding plc, Ryanair Limited, BNY Mellon Clearing International Limited, Sentenial Limited, Celsius Funds Plc, Celsius Funds II Plc and Grove Limited. He is an Irish citizen and highly experienced politician. He served as EU Commissioner for Internal Markets and Services (2004-2010) and has held positions in several Irish Government Ministerial Offices, including Minister for Finance (1997-2004), Minister for Tourism & Trade (1993-1994) and Minister for Social Welfare (1992-1993)."[1]
