Biographical Information

Chris became Chair of the Child Poverty Action Group in April 2010 having joined the Board in July 2007.

"His main activities at present are in the voluntary sector where in addition to his involvement in CPAG he is a director of Pupil Parent Partnership which helps disadvantaged young people. He is also an advisor to the Royal College of Midwives where he chairs their trading business. His background is in general management, business planning and corporate governance, gained in both private and public sector businesses. In his business career he was a main board director at East Midlands Electricity plc and at Automated Security (Holdings) PLC and a member of the executive committee at BNFL Plc."[1]
