CECCM is the abbreviation for the Confederation of European Community Cigarette Manufacturers, established in 1988 in the United Kingdom.

Description

CECCM served as the coordinating body for the European National Manufacturing Associations (NMAs).[1]. CECCM seemed to function in a capacity similar to the Tobacco Institute in the U.S.[2] CECCM's objectives were to monitor EU developments relevant to the tobacco sector; to communicate common viewpoints and positions of its members to the EU institutions as appropriate.
