Cynthia Hardin Milligan "is the eighth dean of the College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Previously, she served as President of Cynthia Milligan & Associates, a consulting firm for financial institutions, located in Lincoln, Nebraska. She is a member of the board of directors of Wells Fargo, San Francisco, California, The Gallup Organization, Omaha, Nebraska and Princeton, New Jersey; and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, Battle Creek, Michigan. In addition, Mrs. Milligan is a member of many academic, civic and community boards, such as Bryan LGH Health Center Foundation of which she is Chair.

"Mrs. Milligan holds a J.D. with honors from George Washington University National Law Center, Washington, D.C., and a B.A. with honors from the University of Kansas. She has been an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law College and the University of Nebraska College of Law in the areas of taxation and banking law, and is the former Director of Banking and Finance for the State of Nebraska. Prior to serving as President of Milligan & Associates, she was a senior partner of a law firm in Lincoln, Nebraska for ten years and practiced law with a large Washington, D.C. law firm before that. Mrs. Milligan and her husband Robert S. Milligan, a businessman, have five children." [1]
