David K. Y. Tang

David K.Y. Tang "is President of the American Bar Foundation. Mr. Tang is a partner at Preston Gates & Ellis, where he focuses on foreign and domestic investments and business transactions, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. He received his bachelor's degree from Harvard University and his J.D. from Columbia University. In December 2005 Mr. Tang was appointed Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco Board of Directors. Mr. Tang has served on numerous boards of educational, civic and cultural organizations. Currently, he is on the boards of the Pacific Council on International Policy, National Bureau of Asian Research, and the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations, among others. In the American Bar Association, he is currently serving on the Nominating Committee, the Standing Committee on Membership and in the House of Delegates as a delegate from the Section of Real Property Probate and Trust Law, where he was the Section Chair."
