Dr Derek Langslow CBE [1]
- Former Chief Executive of English Nature (1990-2000)
- Previously worked as a research scientist and lecturer and Cambridge and Edinburgh Universities before joining the Chief Scientist Team of the Nature Conservancy Council (NCC). Initially ran the ornithological research programme before taking on responsibility for the finance and management of the team. For three years he was Director of Personnel and Finance
- Has been a member of several boards, trusts and committees, including the Heritage Lottery Fund, and has led Quinquennial Reviews.
