Dominic Ralph Campden Lawson (born 17 December 1956) is a British journalist.

Family Background

Dominic Lawson is the son of Nigel Lawson [1] founder of the Global Warming Policy Foundation[2]. His sister Nigella is married to Charles Saatchi the famous advertising tycoon. Lawson is married to the sister of [3]. According to wikipedia he is also related to George Monbiot.

Career

He is a former editor of The Sunday Telegraph until 2005, when he was dismissed and replaced by Sarah Sands. He is currently an Editorial and Opinion writer for The Independent and other titles including the Mail on Sunday.

Lawson is a prominent skeptic of Global Warming , in the words of wikipedia "For example he does not believe global warming is caused by increased greenhouse gas emissions, attributing it to solar radiation."

Lawson is a fierce advocate of adaptation over mitigation in response to Anthropogenic Global Warming .[4]
