Biographical Information

"Ed joined E3G from Friends of the Earth in February 2010 to co-ordinate Transform UK – the campaign to re-power Britain, which is an alliance based initiative focused on accelerating investment into the low carbon economy.

"At Friends of the Earth, Ed led the Economics Team for four years, specialising in climate economics. The team successfully campaigned for the introduction of Carbon Budgets within the Climate Change Act, the inclusion of Feed in Tariffs and the Renewable Heat Incentive within the Energy Act 2008, reform of the social cost of carbon, an increase in the budget to tackle fuel poverty and green tax reform.

"Ed has 12 years experience as an NGO campaigner and lobbyist working on biodiversity and climate change issues and has worked for some of the world’s leading environmental groups including WWF, the Wilderness Society in Australia and the Environmental Investigation Agency.

"Ed has a communications background as a TV producer and previously worked for the BBC, The Discovery Channel and Television Trust for the Environment. "[1]
