Elizabeth Veanus was a resident of the state of New York who circa 1989 served as an outside consultant to R.J. Reynolds. She worked organizing smokers rights groups, although most of her work up until that date was in New York. She received a $4,600 monthly fee for her work. [1] By 1990, Veanus was working directly for RJR as a field coordinator in the State Government Relations department. At that time, she was stationed in Babylon, New York. [2][3]
