Biographical Information

"Etienne is currently non-executive chairman of Virgin Racing, the UK’s new Formula 1 team a position he has held since November 2009. He was, until December 2008 and September 2009 respectively , the Chairman and President of the ATP World Tour, the men’s professional tennis governing body; and Chairman of BBC Worldwide , a position he held for 4 years. He was a senior founding partner of Englefield Capital, and remains an investor in their second fund. He was a senior executive of the Walt Disney Company for 15 years from 1986 till 2000 where he held a number of roles - President of Walt Disney International, (Europe, Africa and M/East), as well as being responsible for all the company’s International TV activities for 10 years. In the early 1980s he worked for McKinsey & Co in London. He is a qualified civil engineer and read PPE at Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar. Etienne is a very active non-executive director of Pi Capital.
