Freedom from Hunger was established in 1946 and is an international development organization that work in seventeen countries across the globe and specializes in microfinance. "Freedom from Hunger is a nonprofit, nongovernmental, nonsectarian organization classified by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charity." [1]
