Biographical Information

"Greg’s dual passions are agricultural development and ending conflicts in sub-Saharan Africa. He works with NGOs and politicians in Canada and Africa to promote women’s rights and community-led development, and to break the links between consumer electronics and the war in eastern Congo. Building on his work with the Enough Project, Oxfam and Partnership Africa Canada, his focus at CADS is on improving food security and livelihoods in the Congo’s Ruzizi Valley, and raising public and political awareness of African conflicts. He has traveled extensively throughout the Great Lakes region and the Horn of Africa. He holds an MA in Political Science from the University of Alberta, and is completing an MPhil in African Studies from the University of Cambridge." [1]
