Overview

Homeland Security Company, LLC (HSC) began as a Nashville, Tennessee based company, formed in 2001, to "provide highly specialized security management and training to government and commercial entities." Their clients include the US Department of Homeland Security, the US State Department, the International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Section, and the U.S. Army's Joint Special Operations Group[1][2]

HSC has formed strategic partnerships [3] with Lockheed Martin, Pacific Architects and Engineers, Galaxy Scientific Corporation[4], and Windmill International, Inc.[5].

In November 2006 HSC was sold to a group of Atlanta based investors. In November 2007 HSC named Joe Johnson as the new President and CEO.

Contracts

  • HSC is the largest subcontractor in a 2002 Lockheed contract with the Transportation Security Administration "to provide specialized security training for TSA's passenger and baggage screeners" as well as flexibility "to design and offer various types of specialized training for programs such as Federal Flight Deck Officers, Federal Air Marshals and others as needed."   • HSC was also awarded in 2002 a contract by Delta Airlines to train all flight attendents and cabin crew in techniques to handle disruptive passengers. [11]
