How can they fight crime when they are fighting each other? is a campaign slogan launched by the British Conservative Party on January 12, 2005. According to The Scotsman, the Tories "unveiled a campaign poster showing Mr Blair and Mr Brown, with fists drawn, staring at each other against [the] slogan" [1].

The slogan is an attempt to capitalize on the well-publicized feud between British Prime Minister Tony Blair and his Chancellor, Gordon Brown, in the run-up to the expected general election later in the year.
