Ian Chesterman

Ian Chesterman is the director of the Kenya Horticulture Competitiveness Program (KHCP) a five-year program of the U.S. Agency for International Development in Kenya that began in 2010.

"Ian Chesterman has 30 years of agricultural experience in Africa. He has managed market, production and processing divisions at major farms including Fisher-Vegpro and Exotic Farm Produce in Kenya, and Mitchell & Mitchell in Zimbabwe. He has vast experience in input supply development, irrigation, smallholder training for horticulture supply chain inclusion, packhouses, and environmental and quality standards. He recently served as a deputy chief of party for USAID- Ethiopia’s Agribusiness and Trade Expansion Program."[1]
