Ingram Content Group was formed in 2009 when Ingram Lightning Group merged with Ingram Digital Group. Ingram Corporation was founded in 1964, formerly known as the Ingram Oil & Refining Co. According to the company's website, it is a "distributor of physical and digital content.  We provide books, music and media content to over 38,000 retailers, libraries, schools and distribution partners in 195 countries." The company's book inventory is the industry's largest, with 7.5 million titles. It is privately held and located in La Vergne, Tennessee.[1]

Ties to Pete Peterson's "Fix the Debt"
