"The late Jan Nation died at the age of 53 in January 2001. Born in Australia, she had been a student of the Alice Bailey teachings for over 30 years. She moved to New Zealand in 1969, and in 1975 was the inspiration behind, and joint founder of the Triangle Centre in Paekakariki. In 1979 Jan and her husband, Steve, moved to London to work for the Lucis Trust. In 1985 she was appointed Chair of the Commonwealth Headquarters of the Lucis Trust, with responsibilities for the work in the Commonwealth of the Arcane School, Triangles, World Goodwill and the publishing company, the Lucis Press Ltd. She continued in this post until ill health forced her to resign in 1997. In 1999, while under treatment for cancer, she was joint founder of Intuition in Service and the United Nations Days & Years Meditation Initiative." [1]
