"Janis Kong was appointed to the board of VisitBritain in February 2006. She is a non-executive director of Network Rail, the company responsible for the UK’s railway infrastructure; Kingfisher plc, a home improvement retail group; and Portmeirion Holdings plc, a ceramics manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent. In January 2007, Janis became chair of trustees for Forum for the Future, the UK's leading sustainable development charity, having joined their board of trustees in 2006."
