Jerry Fowler "is the William E. Podlich Distinguished Visiting Professor at Claremont McKenna College and a visiting scholar at CMC’s Center for the Study of the Holocaust, Genocide and Human Rights. He is on leave from his position as staff director of the Committee on Conscience at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. He has taught at George Washington University Law School and George Mason University Law School. He also has served as legislative counsel for the Lawyers Committee on Human Rights and as special litigation counsel for the US Department of Justice. His publications include “A New Chapter of Irony: The Legal Consequences of the Darfur Genocide Determination,” published Genocide Studies and Prevention (July 2006), and “The Church and Power: Responses to Genocide and Massive Human Rights Abuses in Comparative Perspective,” in Genocide in Rwanda: Complicity of the Churches? (2004). He has degrees from Stanford Law School and Princeton University." [1]
