Julie Cram was appointed by George W. Bush as Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of Public Liaison in March 2007. [1]

"Ms. Cram previously served as Vice President of Corporate Communications at TerreStar Networks Inc. Earlier in her career, she served as Director of Public Affairs at Burson-Marsteller and Director of Public Affairs of the International Trade Administration at the Department of Commerce. Ms. Cram received her bachelor's degree from the American University," the White House announcement stated. [2]

In February 2005 Cram was appointed as a Director in its Public Affairs Practice in Washington, D.C. In a media release announing her appointment, B-M stated that "for the past four years, Cram has worked closely with the Bush Administration in a variety of strategic communications positions. Most recently, she worked for Bush-Cheney '04 as the Deputy Communications Director for National Surrogate Media; with the Republican National Committee as the Director of Communications for Victory 2004; and as Director of Surrogate Media Operations for the Republican National Convention."
