Ken Miller "is the CEO and president of Ken Miller Capital, LLC, a merchant banking firm specializing in private equity investing, with an emphasis on media, technology and telecommunications. He is also a Senior Adviser to Lehman Brothers.

"Before founding Ken Miller Capital, LLC, he served as Vice Chairman of Credit Suisse First Boston, a global investment banking firm. Mr. Miller has also served as president and chief executive of The Lodestar Group, and head of the Merrill Lynch Merger and Acquisitions department.

"Mr. Miller is active in the corporate community, serving on several boards including Viacom (1987-2003) and Intelsat. He is a member of the Council of Foreign Relations, and the boards of Global Kids and the United Nations Association of the United States of America.

"In 1971, with partners from the Harvard Business School, Mr. Miller founded Urban National Corporation, the first purely private sector venture capital fund to invest in minority businesses.

"Mr. Miller received his bachelor's degree (with honors) from the University of Michigan, a Master's in Chinese Studies from Yale University, and a law degree from Harvard University. He has published numerous articles on venture capital, economic development, international relations, and the merger market, in publications such as The Harvard Journal of Legislation, The Business Lawyer, The New Republic, The Nation, and Fortune."
