Li Ka Shing

Li Ka Shing is the owner of Hutchison Whampoa Ltd. a diversified conglomerate based out of Hong Kong.

Global Crossing

In 2003 Li was involved in an attempted buyout of the bankrupt telecommunications company, Global Crossing. His buyout attempt failed after U.S. regulators raised security concerns about the deal.[1]
