In 2010, the National Endowment for Democracy gave them a grant for $75,000: "To foster constructive dialogue and cooperation among Libyan democrats and civic groups inside and outside the country. LHPDF will conduct two workshops on human development, media, human rights and democracy; maintain and update its website; and produce and distribute two issues of its journal and two booklets on political developments in Libya."
