Dr. Morrisett, 80, served as a director of Tucows "and as a member of the audit committee and compensation committee of Infonautics, Inc., our predecessor, beginning in February 1994. Dr. Morrisett also served as chairman of the Board of Directors of Infonautics beginning in March 1998 until we merged with Tucows Delaware in August 2001 and became Tucows Inc. He is the co-founder of the Children's Television Workshop (now Sesame Workshop) and served from 1969 to 1998 as president of The Markle Foundation, a charitable organization." [1]

"Lloyd N. Morrisett will step down as President of the Markle Foundation in January 1998, having served in the post since 1969. He held the position of Vice President of the Carnegie Corporation of New York and of the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching before coming to Markle. More than two decades ago, he helped found the Children's Television Workshop (CTW), producers of Sesame Street and other educational television programs for children, and he continues to be Chairman of the Workshop's Board of Trustees. For many years, Dr. Morrisett has been a member of the Board of Directors of RAND, and was Board Chairman from 1986 to 1995. He was a trustee of Oberlin College and was Chairman of its Board from 1975 to 1981.

"At present, Dr. Morrisett is a Director of WEBS Index Fund and the Infonautics Corporation. His broad interests in education, science and technology have led him to serve as advisor or trustee for such organizations as the Educational Testing Service, the System Development Corporation, Action for Children's Television (ACT), Harvard University's Office for Information Technology, the Center for Public Resources, and the Media Commentary Council. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Psychological Association, and the American Psychological Society.

"Dr. Morrisett received his B.A. at Oberlin College, did graduate work in psychology at U.C.L.A., and earned his Ph.D. in experimental psychology at Yale University. He has received honorary degrees from Oberlin College, Northwestern University and RAND." [3]
