Biographical Information

"Margaret Clark OBE is Chair of the Plunkett Foundation and is a former Director and Deputy Chief Executive of the Commission for Rural Communities and Countryside Agency and former Rural Adviser to Business in the Community, with particular responsibility for HRH The Prince of Wales's Affordable Rural Housing Initiative. She is currently Chair of Hastoe Housing Association, the leading specialist provider of rural affordable housing in England. Margaret is a past member of the Carnegie UK Trust Rural Committee; the BBC Rural Affairs Advisory Committee; the Independent Policy Commission on Primary School Organisation in Shropshire; the Housing Corporation's Rural Housing Advisory Group; and more recently Chair of the Somerset, Devon and Dorset Community Land Trust Project. She lives in Dorset and has a special interest in rural development policy and practice, and, the provision of affordable rural housing. Margaret joined Plunkett’s Board in February 2013 and became Chair in July 2013."[1]
