Max D. Gelwix is the founder, Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of Perfect Wave Technologies LLC, which was listed in 2003 as part of the Wilkes Corporation. [1][2]

Subpoenaed: Thomas D. DeLay Connection

A second round of subpoenas was issued last week by Texas prosecutor Ronnie Earle to Gelwix and William B. Adams seeking "records of any communications" between disgraced former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Texas), disgraced former Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham (R-California), House Majority Whip Roy Blunt (R-Missouri), and Brent Wilkes "over federal legislation that may have benefited Adams and his businesses," the Associated Press's Seth Hettena reported January 24, 2006.

On December 12, 2005, Earle issued an initial round of subpoenas for California businessmen Brent Wilkes and Max Gelwix, as well as the "records of Perfect Wave Technologies LLC, Wilkes Corp. and ADCS Inc. in connection with a contribution to a fundraising committee at the center of the investigation that led to DeLay's indictment on money laundering charges," the Associated Press's Suzanne Gamboa reported December 13, 2005.

In May 2000, Business Wire reported that Max D. Gelwix "joined Eco Soil in September 1997 as president of Mitigation Services Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Eco Soil Systems Inc. In February 1998 Max was appointed as vice president of corporate development of Eco Soil and in April 1999 appointed as vice president of marketing and product development. Mr. Gelwix was recently promoted to president and chief operating officer in March 2000."
