Mezzina/Brown was the advertising firm in New York that handled the Joe Camel ad campaign for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco in 1994.(WSJ 8/2/94). Young & Rubicam advertising agency lost the R.J. Reynolds Camel cigarette brand account in 1991 when two Y&R Executives resigned to form Mezzina/Brown, which remained Camel's ad agency in 1994.(WSJ 9/13/94)
