Michelle Evans "holds a Master of International Affairs degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) with a concentration in human rights and the media, and a B.A. in Gender Studies from Bard College. Prior to her post-graduate studies, she worked for five years in the communications field, including as a Reporter and Editor for print and web-based news outlets, and as a Researcher and Producer for documentary and educational media projects in the USA, Central Asia and Central America. Her background also includes working with the Coalition for an International Criminal Court, the Jesuit Refugee Service and the Earth Times Foundation. She joined the ISHR in July 2001." [1]
