Michigan Forward is a non-profit organization that specializes in creating progressive public policy initiatives for state and local governments. In 2012, its main efforts were centered on working to gather signatures to suspend and repeal Michigan's new Emergency Financial Manager law, updated in March, 2011. [1] [2]
