Mike Beebe is governor of Arkansas

Mike Beebe, a moderate Democrat, is the governor of Arkansas since 2007. He has focused largely on economic, education, and environmental issues.[1]

Bio

2006 elections

In 2006, Beebe defeated Republican Asa Hutchinson in the race for governor. [1]

2008 elections

He was a superdelegate in the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination.

Before Hillary Clinton conceded the race, Mike Beebe, as a superdelegate, had endorsed her for President.

2010 elections

In 2010, Beebe won a second term for governor by defeating Republican Jim Keet.[2]
