National Empowerment Television (NET) (Conservative television network): The founders of National Empowerment Television sent Philip Morris a proposal requesting startup funding for the network. NET often broadcast shows that supported Philip Morris' point of view on tobacco issues, for example promoting its views against FDA regulation, against EPA rulings on secondhand smoke, etc.
