National People's Action is a group that, according to its Web site, is "a Network of community power organizations from across the country that work to advance a national economic and racial justice agenda." The group promotes human dignity and basic human rights, seeks to "democratize the market," "put people above profits" and seeks to "Take back our power to use the government as our tool to promote the common good, correct the injustices of the past, and redistribute resources equitably and sustainably."[1]
