Norman J. Pattiz

Norman Pattiz was the member of the Broadcasting Board of Governors credited with creating Radio Sawa and Al Hurra. Pattiz was appointed in 2000 by President Bill Clinton. Pattiz founded Westwood One, the largest radio network in the United States, and sits of the University of California Board of Regents. He resigned from the BBG in January 2006.
