Peter A. Flaherty is a venture capitalist and member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Biographical Details

Peter A. Flaherty was appointed to the Board of Epoch Holding Corp on July 20, 2004. He has been the managing director of the private investment firm, Arcon Partners, LLC since 2005. He is currently Director Emeritus of McKinsey & Company, Inc., which he joined in 1975. At McKinsey, Mr. Flaherty worked with financial institutions, media and information companies. He is an active private investor and for many years served on, and led McKinsey’s Investment Advisory Committee. This committee was responsible for pension and discretionary partner investments with a on alternative investments. He also serves on the Boards of The Rockefeller University, The Foreign Policy Association, The Kenyon Review and TechnoServe. He serves as Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Mr. Flaherty graduated from Stanford University, the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and the Harvard Business School. [1], [2]
