Pohang Port is in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. It is located on the southeastern part of the Korean peninsula and has been developed as a major industrial port since the Pohang Iron and Steel Company's (POSCO) steel works.[1]

Piers 1-2 import coal. Piers 3-5 export steel goods.[1]

The port receives Russian coal for South Korean steelmaker Posco from the North Korean Rajin Port, close to the Russian border.[2]
