The project is located in northern Vietnam, but the exact location is not known.[1]


The project is listed in the Revised Power Development Plan VII as a cogeneration IPP project for 2025. The fuel type is listed as "Hydro-RES."[2]

As of May 2019 there has been no additional news about this project and it appears to be shelved.
