Richard Rominger "was the Deputy Secretary (the number two position) at the U. S. Department of Agriculture in Washington, DC for eight years, where working to improve farm policy, including conservation programs and the establishment of the National Organic Standards, were among his many responsibilities. He also serves on the board of directors of the American Farmland Trust and the Roots of Change Council." [1]
