Robert Deitz

Robert Deitz (1940- ) was born in Wilmore, Kentucky. He was a public relations executive before he was a Pulitzer-prize nominated journalist for the now defunct Dallas Times Herald. He was also the business editor of the Dallas Time Herald. He was editor-in-chief of Texas Business magazine. He is a freelance journalist for BusinessWeek. He has written books on the savings and loan scandal, a book with Donald Paul Hodel on how there should be less regulation of American oil companies, as well as two books on how the policemen who beat Rodney King were charged unfairly.
