Robert E. Davis is a global warming skeptic who has been "contributing editor" of World Climate Report; he is a professor at the University of Virginia's Environmental Sciences Department[1], where Patrick Michaels worked until 2007[2].

Davis has also done work for the Independent Institute[3] and is listed by ExxonSecrets[4] (but not Marshall[5]) as having been a member of the now-defunct Independent Commission on Environmental Education.
