Mr. Robert S. Kaplan "is an Advisory Director at Berkshire Partners, LLC. He joined the firm in 2009. He is Member of School of Business Board of Advisor of The University of Kansas School of Business. Mr. Kaplan is a Senior Director at the Goldman Sachs Group which he joined in 1983. Mr. Kaplan was Acting President and Chief Executive Officer at Harvard Management Company for fiscal 2007. He served as an Interim Chief Executive Officer at the Harvard Management Co. Inc., from November 2007 to June 2008. Mr. Kaplan joined Harvard Business School in 2005. He served as the Global Co-Head of the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs Group Inc. from 1999 through 2001 and was the Co-Chief Operating Officer at Global Investment Banking from 1998 to 1999. Mr. Kaplan became the Head of the Americas Corporate Finance Department at Goldman Sachs in 1994 and the Head of Asia-Pacific Investment Banking from 1990 through 1993 and also served the Senior Director.

"He is a Member of Advisory Board of Stockbridge Fund. Mr. Kaplan serves as a Co-Chairman of the Board of Project A.L.S. and The TEAK Fellowship. He has been a Director of Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. since 1994. Mr. Kaplan served as a Vice Chairman of Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. until January 2006. He served as the Vice Chairman and a Member of Management Committee of The Goldman Sachs Group since April 2002. Mr. Kaplan is a Member of the Boards of Harvard Medical School and The Jewish Theological Seminary. He serves as a Trustee of The Jewish Museum and Ford Foundation. Mr. Kaplan serves as a Professor of Management Practice at Harvard Business School. Prior to attending Business School, he was a C.P.A. at Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. Mr. Kaplan holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Graduate Business School of Business Administration and a B.S. from the University of Kansas." [1]
