Sam Walton

Samuel Moore Walton (b. March 29, 1918 d. April 5, 1992) founded Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. The first store opened in Rogers, Ark. in 1962. By 2005 the company Walton founded was reporting sales in excess of $285 billion and employed more than 1.7 million people around the world.

His first grandchild is Steuart Walton.
