Scott Bacon

Scott Bacon, the son of the later Tasmanian Labor Premier Jim Bacon, has announced that he will seek Labor Party pre-selection in the seat of Denison for the 2010 state election. Bacon announced his nomination with Premier David Bartlett.[1]

The media release announcing his bid for pre-selection stated that he is "an economist with broad experience working in business, for business and in government. He is a passionate member of the North Hobart Football Club and the New Town Cricket Club." (The listed contact on his media release was Dean Winter).[1]
