Sue Jeffers

Sue Jeffers [October 3, 1956 - ] is a bar owner, Republican grassroots activist, and radio talk show host on KTLK, 100.3 FM. She ran for the Republican nomination for governor of Minnesota in 2006 against Gov. Tim Pawlenty on a platform of lower taxes and property rights. She took 11% of the Republican vote.

Affiliations

  • Jeffers serves on the Board of Directors of Education Liberty Watch, a conservative education advocacy group with a national footprint in Maple Grove, MN.
  • Jeffers, who owns Stub & Herbs Restaurant, a bar on the University of Minnesota campus, has successfully led the efforts to scale back Hennepin County's smoking bans.
