This page contains much of the same info as "http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Biomass_power_generation"<rev>http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Biomass_power_generation</rev>. However, the other page contains more information. I recommend we delete this page or re-write it so the contents match the heading.

"Biomass as alternative to coal" is a good heading for discussion of torrefaction, co-firing, conversions, and development of new, stand-alone biomass electricity plants. This heading could also contain discussion of the fact that noted climate scientists such as James Hansen have argued, not only do we need to prevent construction of new coal-fired power plants, we must begin shutting-down old coal-fired plants.

I will await discussion and input from others here before making such major changes. --JohnBonitz 23:13, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
