83.217.166.79 - I reverted the deletion of Mia's listing. I found a listing indicating she was still with the Scientific Alliance in June this year -- maybe she has moved on but if deleting material please just post a note explaining the change onto the talk page associated with the article. Thanks - --Bob Burton 16:27, 28 Oct 2004 (EDT)

Please note that MN left the Scientific Alliance in August 2004.

Rather than deleting the statement, it would be preferable to insert "former"

Edit note

I removed the following par from the article page - it seemed rather tangential to an article on the SA. --Bob Burton 17:37, 25 December 2007 (EST)

Foresight Communications is a PR firm established by Mark Adams in January 2001. Besides Scientific Alliance and British Aggregates Association, its client list includes the New Party for Britain (also known as the People's Alliance). The New Party - also the name of Oswald Mosley's first party - is so right-wing that the Tory leader in Scotland, where it operates, has called it 'fascist and undemocratic'. Like the Scientific Alliance, this 'People's Alliance', was established by Durward and Adams.

Funding

It would be useful to find some hard evidence for funding because Scientific Alliance has links to the George C Marshall Institute but also claims "The Scientific Alliance has never received money from ExxonMobil." http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2006/sep/22/guardianletters.climatechange

As we all know GMI is funded by Exxon so I figure there is scope for needling out a contradiction in their stance there. User Hengistmcstone
