I am a Viet Nam vet and I am as mad as hell with Kerry, this flip flop man needs to go away and I hope it does. My friends died over there and I remember Kerry and Jane Fonda as if it was yesterday. You need to run some of John Kerry anti war stuff with his voice so there is no question were this man is coming from. Thanks for the Ads Keep it Up.

While you were over there fighting Mr. Nelson, George W. had the luxury of flying expensive jets over the pacified topography of America. Cheney had 5? deferments. How does that make you feel? Do you feel like W. was there for you then? Think Cheney cared about you guys? Or are you so gullible as to buy their lip-service?

I'd like to mention this is where our political culture is now. This is a pathetic display of democracy - its a mockery of free speech. The populous of this country is starving for a real discussion of the issues instead of all this Jerry Springer shit. Half the population does not vote because they believe it doesn't matter.

Everyone involved in this is a hypocrit. I personally don't think serving in the military has anything to do with qualifications for president. Obviously both Bush and Kerry handled the war in a way that invites attacks.

But do you see what is going on here? We are talking about nonsense. Important things like the economy (job-outsourcing; turning America into a service-industry); modifications to authority in the government; the state of education in this country; the state of prisons; the real nature of the war on terror; getting half our power from coal-burning. Why are they not talking about any of this stuff? Is it because whoever has the best character will be able to handle it without discussion?

I bet you half of these Kerry supporters were against the Vietnam War, yet they are touting his participation in it as a mark of patriotism. Shouldn't they go with Bush instead? Instead of all these play-yard quips and nasty behaviour, when are our elected officials going to behave in a civil way and work on creating an efficient government rather than an ideological battle-field that leaves only corporations represented? That's the only thing that gets done, and everyone is on it. The people in this country are getting screwed.

Political discourse in this country is locked in a landfill. Its turning into an underground well of garbage slop. The enviroment is beaing heavily compromised. If any of you people could see how we are behaving, you'd be embarrassed as hell. It reminds me of a line in a Talking Heads song, "...and as everything fell apart, nobody paid much attention."

Go shopping America. Don't think about anything except for the spiteful meaningless flotsom in the stream of life. And shut up.
